The Village Council of Mayville, Michigan held a Regular Meeting at the Village Hall on April 21, 2026. The meeting was called to order at 7:40 pm by Village President Kristen Valentine.

WHEREAS, the Village employs specified personnel on various bases; and WHEREAS, the Council approved the following salaries and wages for the 2026–2027 fiscal year…
- Clerk/Interim Manager: $27.58/hr, 24–32 hrs/week
- Treasurer: $18.54/hr, 12–18.75 hrs/week
- Custodian: $20.00/hr, up to 5 hrs/week, contracted, no benefits
- DPW Equipment & Building Supervisor: $22.50/hr, 32–36 hrs/week
- DPW Public Works Supervisor: $21.50/hr, 40 hrs/week
- Lien Certified Office Administrator: $21.85/hr, 18 hrs/week
- Crossing Guards: $15.00/hr, 5 hrs/week max, contracted
- Part Time Police Officers: $22.66/hr, contracted
- Chief of Police: $26.67/hr, 32 hrs/week
- Sewer & Water Operator: under MRWA training, no cost to Village
