  1. 1. Intent and Applicability. The intent of the Central Business District (CBD) and Historic Downtown District (HDD) are to create pedestrian-friendly, compact, mixed-use districts. Downtown Mayville is characterized by a mixture of uses, which include retail, offices, attached residential, and civic uses.
